The classic car from Napa started off the cruse. It had rained just before the cruse started but the rain held off during the rest of the time we were there.

In talking to the owner they said that they were from Spokane and went to AZ to purchase the car. The car was originally from Coeur d' Alene and was redone back in the 80's.

So close to the old 69 Doge that was our family car when I was growing up. We loved to cruse in the old Dodge as you could fit about 12 people in that car. And it was fun to race people off the stop lights.
Mom was excited to see this car. She had a Pontiac Star Chief Car just like this one when she was a teenager. This car brought back many good memories. You can tell by the smile on her face.

This car looks like it came to life out of an old Superman comic book. It even looks fast & sleek.
Primer gray low rider truck followed by a low rider primer gray VW Bug. To make the bug lower they tilted the back wheels. Both were almost scraping the pavement when they drive by.
Everyone that stopped by to look at this car said that the 57 Pontiac Star Chief was very rare. That they are hard to find. With the info that this car was originally from Coeur d' Alene Mom is thinking this could have been her car. Her car was originally silver but this car was repainted. The inside was all done in Gray. So it could have been silver but they repainted it Red when they rebuilt it.
